FOOTBALL - CARDIAC ARRESTS
The FRED®
easyport® is so small (133 x 126 x 50 mm) and light (490
gms including the battery) that for many Responders it is already
standard equipment in their kit bag, or carried easily clipped to
their belt. The success of AED's largely depends on a person
suffering a cardiac arrest being within the immediate vicinity of a
defibrillator. During the World Cup 2006, paramedics on duty at the
football stadiums carried out their duties with FRED®
easyport® at their waists,. Equipped with this "weapon"
against sudden cardiac death, saving valuable minutes in the race
against time to the delivery of the first shock. The size of a
personal CD player, its design enables people who may infrequently
be faced with an emergency medical situation, to have the
confidence to save life. It is efficient and effective, versatile
and robust and its size makes it truly available to carry anywhere
and into any situation. FRED® easyport® has the
capacity for 70-life saving shocks before replacing the battery and
is a quarter of the size of existing units on the market. Don't
hesitate, Defibrillate!
