AMAZON MEDICAL ON SITE SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ALL EXTENDED WARRANTY & COMPREHENSIVE CONTRACTS
On-site Service
Amazon Medical shall provide at Customer’s site all labour and materials that it deems necessary to maintain in good operating condition those hardware products covered under the contract.
Remedial Maintenance
Shall include the diagnosis and correction of product malfunctions and failures.
Safety and Performance Checks
Shall include inspection and test procedures which shall determine whether electrical safety requirements are satisfied, cleaning, adjusting, lubricating, inspecting and testing procedures to reduce product failure and to verify good operating condition.
Period of Coverage
Amazon Medical shall provide service between 09.00 and 17.00 hrs Monday through Friday excluding Public Holidays.
Response Time
If a Customer Engineer is not immediately available when Customer makes a service request, a Customer Engineer shall return the telephone call within four working hours. The maximum response time to arriving on-site shall be two working days.
LIMITATIONS OF SERVICE
Any product (hardware, firmware, software or cabling) not supplied by Schiller Medical or their approved supplier.
Any product supplied by Schiller Medical or their approved supplier, which has been modified by the Customer or any third party.
If the malfunction has been caused by a nonqualified device or engineer, Amazon Medical shall charge Customer for additional expenses incurred.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer shall provide :
- The product covered under service
- Information as needed
- Adequate working space and facilities.
Operating Procedures
Customer shall follow routine operating procedures as specified in the operating manual for the product
Operating Supplies
Customer shall provide operating supplies and consumables
